Depreciation

This weekend's USC-Ohio State game has lost a little luster, though it still seems to be the most anticipated matchup in college football this year. After a meager performance against the University of Ohio, the Buckeyes fell to fifth in both the AP and USA Today polls, earning just a single first-place vote in each.

The biggest winner in the polls was USC. Without playing a game, the Trojans picked up most of Ohio State's votes. They jumped from 21 first-place votes to 33 in the AP Poll and 23 to 34 in the USA Today poll. It's a curious development ... the Buckeyes now come into the Coliseum without as much to lose, and a lot to prove.

USC will be a 10.5 point favorite, baring breaking Beanie news. Tickets have dropped to as low as $132.50 on Stub Hub, and there are many options below $300 on Barry's Tickets.
