Pete Carroll talks about USC's quarterbacks
We're still tinkering with our video functionality. ... Let us know if you have any trouble with this clip of Pete Carroll discussing what he can do with Mark Sanchez and the other USC quarterbacks compared with John David Booty and Matt Leinart.

Lot of hum on the audio, and the video is maybe stretched?, but otherwise works great!

IDK about everyone else, but it's the intangibles of Mark Sanchez and the unknowns of how good this offense might be, that is really exciting.
Last year, we knew what to expect with JDB back, so the question mark was how good the WRs would be, and that was answered almost immediately...terrible without on-the-field leadership of heady veterans. But these guys on the offense, though they may have lacked experience last year, could be really good this year.
The national expectations of the offense are so low, there was hardly a mention of anyone on offense except the running backs. Ohio State may potentially dismiss the potent play of the passing offense by keying in on the running game and the close-in passing, making the WR play even more important. IF USC passes that test, stand back and watch in awe. Ohio State does not have the speed to keep up. The Big-10 does not have speed, period.
Is it Saturday yet???

USC MUST PLAY SOLID DEFENSE TO WIN ANY TYPE OF CHAMPIONSHIP. IF THE DEFENSE STEPS UP BY CREATING TURN OVERS, HOLDING THE OTHER OFFENSES TO THIER SIDE OF THE FIELD, FEW FIRST DOWNS, THE TROJANS WILL WIN. IF THE OFFENSE CAN MINIMIZE MISTAKES AND MOVE THE BALL WITH CONSISTENCY, THE MEN OF TROY WILL BE IN MIAMI HOLD THE TROPHY AT THE END OF THE DAY.
