USC in College Football National Championship
Sports Illustrated created a virtual college football playoff and USC is in the title game against Oklahoma. It's a rematch of the 2005 BCS blowout ... except this time it's much closer. Fan voting is neck-and-neck. To register your own vote, click here.
If you want more of the virtual playoff experience, ESPN has some serious bracketology going on. You can participate by filling out your bracket online. Jack Link's is sponsoring a bunch of prizes including a trip for two to the 2008 college football awards in Orlando.
And if you want to run your own scenarios through a computer simulator, the four letter network has that, too.

It's amazing to me how in almost all these simulations USC comes out on top.
I suppose it should be reassuring to know that everyone thinks so highly of us. I just wish we had a chance to prove it on the field beyond doubt.

It's just an opinion, when you lose to Stanford a 41 point underdog you dont deserve to play for the national title. I dont care how you ended the season, its how you played throughout the season and the two most consistent teams are playing for the title. No one has an argument, so let it be. Also if you lose early in the season you can catch up, but if you lose towards the end you have no chance so how is that fair. Its who you lose to and how you lose to them no matter what week of the season it is.

Apparently it doesn't as much as you think. Both OSU & LSU lost their second to last games. Of course, this has been a crazy year.
Michigan could have gone 11-0 after losing to Appalacian State and they wouldn't have been in the National Championship game either.
