A. Juice is good, but he just isn't even close to being as good as Dixon. Dixon is far better by virtue of experience in running the spread and reading the defense. I swear, he'll be one of the best next year. He's only a sophomore.
B. USC's run defense is really good. They held Dixon's offense to its lowest rushing yards and total yards in a game.
C. Illinois is run-first, pass at last resort. That makes them an easy target for turnovers in the second half if they're behind.
D. Awe and Distraction factor. Illinois players have been in a bowl game....when? This is a big deal being in the Rose Bowl, and all those events that surround the players is a major distraction.
