Trojans in the NFL: Week 6

Reggie Bush (RB - New Orleans) had his best game of the season as the Saints awoke from their slump. They returned to last season's form in a victory over Seattle. He had 97 yards on the ground (5.1 average) and 44 receiving. He did lose a fumble, though.

Carson Palmer
(QB - Cincinnati). The good: 26-42 for 320 yards and 2 TDs. The bad: 2 interceptions. The ugly: The Bengals fell to Kansas City, their fourth straight loss since winning on opening day.

LenDale White (RB - Tennessee) tied the game with a touchdown after the two-minute warning, but the Titans fell to Tampa Bay. He picked up 64 bruising yards on 25 carries.

Junior Seau (LB - New England) nabbed an interception for the second week in a row as the Pats beat Dallas.

Sammy Knight (S - Jacksonville) led the Jaguars in tackles for the second week in a row. He had 12 stops in addition to a forced fumble in a victory over Houston.

Dominique Byrd (TE - St. Louis) made his first reception of the season for the 0-6 Rams. He actually made four of them for 44 yards.

Mike Williams (WR - Oakland) finally saw multiple throws come his way, collecting three for 35 yards in a loss to San Diego.

Keary Colbert (WR - Panthers) made three receptions for 29 yards as the Panthers thumped the Cardinals.

Lofa Tatupu (LB - Seattle) made eight tackles in a loss to New Orleans.

Justin Fargas (RB - Oakland) made a minor impact a week after a bye and two weeks after a career game. Starter LaMont Jordan returned, limiting Fargas to 10 yards on two rushes and a 16-yard catch. The Raiders fell to San Diego.

Billie Miller (TE - New Orleans) was another ex-Trojan in the Saints-Seahawks battle. He made two receptions for 26 yards.

Mike Patterson (DT - Philadelphia) helped the Eagles beat the Jets with four tackles (two solo).

Willie McGinest (LB - Cleveland) had three tackles in a win over Miami.

Kenechi Udeze (DE - Minnesota) made three stops in a victory over Chicago.

Also played: LaJuan Ramsey (DT - Philadelpha), Frostee Rucker (DE - Cincinnati)

Monday Night: No Trojans on TV tonight. Rookie Steve Smith (WR - New York Giants) is out with a broken shoulder blade.

Lets face it Trojans have alot of injurys and if this keeps up they will be lucky to win 2 or 3 more games, but that will not stop me from being a fan.
