Pretty Picture
As I was uploading this, I started to type that it was the coolest thing I'd seen all day. There wasn't anything to write about from the game. The Trojans have looked miserable on the field -- again.
But is that about to change? Joe McKnight gave a glimpse of the future with an explosive 45-yard punt return early in the 4th quarter. He didn't score, but he didn't need to. It may have been the most important play of the year. In an instant, the fans -- and most importantly, the players -- seemed to believe in themselves again. That's what a game-breaker will do for you.
The return, incidentally, was followed immediately by a touchdown strike from Mark Sanchez to Fred Davis, and a three-and-out by the Wildcats.

I think TJ and the TImes staff - Plascke are tough on the Trojans. It's hard to criticize Pete and the players when your entire offensive line is down and your #1 quarterback is injured. No team would survive in these conditions. Yes, the Trojans are deep but when you play the backups of backups that will catch up with you. After all this being said they are 5-1 and they will be getting healthier.
