How Would You Motivate Nebraska?
NOTE: The video originally shown in this post has been taken off of ESPN's website (though we left the player after the jump just in case it's a temporary glitch). It was a hypothetical pre-game speech that Lou Holtz would have given to Nebraska if he were coaching there.
Among his words of advice, “I’d rather play [USC] than UCLA. Why? Because USC’s easier to spell.”

Once again, granny holtz' words of wisdom. Kind of makes you wonder how he ever won a game. I'm still waiting for his teeth to fly out of his mouth when he talks. I didn't know everyword in the english language ended with " th ". He also said ND would win 10 games this year. I guess he was talking about the basketball or baseball team. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the football team will now run the table!!! Looks like Mark May won't have to run around in a Leprachaun uniform. I played and coached a lot of football and what Holtz said in this video would enspire me to take a huge nap. Yea, you can keep there emotions in check, but why put them in a coma. Does the hospital know he's missing. The more I listen to this Whining Irish homer, the more laughable he becomes. He hasn't picked against the Irish since he coached there. He is not an analyst, he is a ND promo on college football shows. But, I feel sorry for granny, because is obviously suffering from dimentia!!!

Yeah, they let the old coot off waaaaay too easy on College Football Final following the Penn State disaster - they didn't even talk about it in-studio, just a voiceover by Rece Davis while watching game highlights!

Who died and made USC #1? Florida is very much alive and kicking.
After Week 3/next
1. Florida v. Ole Miss
2. Ohio State v. Northwestern
3. LSU v. South Carolina
4. USC v. Washington State
5. Wisconsin v. Iowa
6. West Virginia v. East Carolina
7. Oklahoma v. Tulsa
8. Rutgers (idle)
9. Washington v. UCLA
10. Kentucky v. Arkansas
Both UCLA and Nebraska exposed as empty suits.
(Media hype is what it is).

Best college game Saturday 22 Sep: LSU v. South Carolina

Leftwest, who are you? Are you an SEZ fan? Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Miss St, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, are all overrated. The only two solid teams are LSU and Florida.
USC's schedule is harder than anyone in the SEZ, check it out.
USC is number 1 followed closely by LSU and OK,as said by the AP and the college Gods.

Southern Cal-OJ Campus still has its cupcakes to play; it's called the PAC-10.
Florida was Number One in January; how are they Number Four in August?
Until Florida loses, Florida is Number One. They have a longer winning streak.
USC-OJ campus's tough schedule: Idaho, Washington State, Stanford, UCLA,
Arizona, Notre Dame, William, Mary, did I leave out Notre Dame?

USC-OJ campus vs. Nebraska game said more about Nebraska than it did about USC-OJ campus. Nebraska struggled against Nevada, Wake Forest,
Saturday night against USC-OJ campus. Nebraska is just another UCLA, Michigan or Minnesota...and maybe Texas.
Local sports media need to sell papers.

Dear Trojan Man and your people in Condom Nation,
Florida is Number One until someone beats them.
Same for Ohio State being #2; LSU #3; and USC-OJ #4.
You need to read some out of town newspapers.
The glove fits.

Hey USC-OJ campus alum...you said Nebraska struggled against Nevada? The final score was 52-10 and Marlon Lucky had 270 all purpose yards! That's not really struggling. Gotta look at the games...not assume, my friend.
By the way...here's what happens this season. USC will lose to Cal, and Cal will win the Pac-10. Nebraska will lose to Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game. NU/USC rematch in the Holiday Bowl. final score as NU learns to tackle... Nebraska 27 - USC 17

Dear TrojanMan, what Left by Leftwest is saying is:
The same people who ignored Florida and made
Southern Cal #1 are the same people who had
Michigan #5; UCLA #11; and Notre Dame #16.
Play it out on the field; get your thumb off the scales.
All these homer-writers/talk-show hosts (Oprah is
in this crowd) are just trying to help their sales staff
sell ad-space/spots to local retailers by writing what their
readers/listeners want to believe in the hearts (not their
heads). Reading some of their stuff is like listening
to Michael Moore, Barbra Streisand and Rosie O'Doughnuts
in a Notre Dame jersey--tell the children to close their eyes.
Florida is Number One until someone beats them.

All of you are losers! Cal struggled to beat Tennessee! How you can suggest that they beat USC is beyond me. Florida lost some key guys, while USC grew stronger. In every poll, USC is number 1, and until they lose, that's where they will stay!
Posted by: Ryan | September 19, 2007 at 11:43 AM
Ryan, Florida may have lost key player; but, until someone beats them they are Number One. The people who voted USC-OJ campus #1 are the people who voted Michigan #5; UCLA #11; and Notre Dame #16. When Florida loses, we will see who is still standing to lay claim to #1. Until then, let USC-OJ campus continue to roll over Idaho, Stanford, Washington State, Notre Dame, Arizona, UCLA...did I mention Notre Dame. And if NBC sports president, Dick Ebersole, were not a Notre Dame graduate, Notre Dame would not have that NBC television contract; a contract that the NBC television sales department is taking in the shorts daily on both Madison Avenue and Wilshire Blvd.
(Regis Philbin eat your heart out).
