Your morning fashion and beauty report: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen plan an online shopping site, LeBron James nails a watch deal

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen at age 24 already have four fashion labels -- The Row, Elizabeth and James, Textile Elizabeth and James, and Olsenboye. Now they are going digital, with plans to launch online shopping site StyleMint.com in July. Users will sign up, complete a "style profile," and for a monthly fee of around $30, receive a curated choice of items to purchase. This is similar to Kate Bosworth and [Updated: 6:37 a.m. April 11] Cher Coulter's JewelMint.com, which sends subscribers one piece of jewelry each month. Miami Heat star LeBron James is in a deal with Audemars Piguet. James will be a celebrity representative for the watchmaker, while the company will support the basketball player's charities.  [WWD] (Subscription required.)

Designer Roland Mouret and model Claudia Schiffer will be among the judges for "Fashion Fringe," the British competition that nurtures young designers who compete for a cash prize and mentoring from established pros. The pair replace John Galliano, late of Dior, who was honorary chairman last year. "Fashion Fringe" is taking applications through May 4, and three finalists will produce collections to show at London Fashion Week in September. Past prize winners include Erdem and Eun Jeong. [Telegraph] [Catwalk Queen]  

Alexander McQueen is releasing a limited edition skull-print scarf to coincide with the opening of the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" exhibition at the Met in NYC. The scarves will sell for $495 and be in the brand's stores in May. [Harper's Bazaar]

E-tailers will participate for the first time in Fashion's Night Out, the annual global shopping/entertainment extravaganza spearheaded by Vogue, whose third installment is scheduled this fall. In the U.S., the date to save is Sept. 8. [WWD] (Subscription required.)  

New L.A. label Sol Angeles celebrated its launch this week with a party Tuesday night attended by Kardashian queen mum Kris Jenner. The line's soft tees will be on sale at Fred Segal. [PopSugar LA]

Mend your boo-boos with designer bandages from Cynthia Rowley

Cynthia Rowley is on one heck of a roll -- literally. She had her “Shop on Wheels” truck that brought her wares door to door throughout the country earlier this month. There was the Pampers collaboration where she designed diapers to look like little denim hot pants on the backsides of fashion-conscious babies and now fancy Band-Aid brand bandages to dress up everything from paper cuts and scrapes to the blisters you get from wearing 5-inch heels and strappy sandals.

Rowley has teamed up with Band-Aid Brand to create a line of limited edition adhesive bandages that look more like accessories or temporary tattoos than your typical flesh colored sticky strips. These are printed with festive sequins, lace, chain patterns, gems and even Rowley’s full name emblazoned across a couple of them, so you’re not just getting her designs, but the designer label too.

The Band Aid tins come with 20 bandages and sell for $10.00. A dollar from the sale of each tin will go to the Design Ignites Change organization.

Cynthia Rowley fashion truck pulls into Fashion Island

A traveling Cynthia Rowley boutique is scheduled to make its West Coast debut this weekend, when it pulls into Newport Beach's Fashion Island shopping center on Friday.

The converted shipping truck, kitted out with hardwood floors, a fitting room and Lucite fixtures, is supposed to be stocked with the entire range of items in the Cynthia Rowley collection -- that's clothes, shoes, bags and accessories -- which seems quite a load for something that's about the size of a UPS truck (maybe there's a sidecar stash parked around back). It's also a treat for fans of the brand since the next closest Cynthia Rowley boutique experience is in Chicago.

The truck will be open for business from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, and Saturday, Aug. 7, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8 (look for it parked at the Fashion Island valet between Macy's and the Apple Store).

After Fashion Island, the shop-on-wheels plans to work its way up the California coast, stopping at assorted boutiques and private homes (by appointment) along the way.  If you're too busy to make it down this weekend -- or just want to see the reaction on your husband's face when he finds a truck full of fashion parked in the driveway --  e-mail the truck to arrange a personal curbside visit.

And, if you want to keep tabs on the truck (including surprise stops along the way), you can follow the trek on Twitter.

New York Fashion Week: BCBG Max Azria, Cynthia Rowley explore the urban jungle [UPDATED]

The urban tribal aesthetic we saw last season at Proenza Schouler and Balenciaga is starting to turn up in the fall collections in New York this week.

First, it was at BCBG Max Azria on Thursday morning, where neutral-colored, draped silk dresses in geometric cuts were shot through with blocks of vibrant blue and yellow.

And it continued at Cynthia Rowley, where models had bright color woven into their hair and the band Preacher and the Knife struck a tribal beat.
