Shopping: Swimwear by Matthew Zink, trunk shows galore [Updated]
Swimwear designer Matthew Zink — former design director at Victoria's Secret — is hosting a trunk show of his line, Charlie by Matthew Zink in Los Angeles next week. The show is scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kitson, 8590 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood. Women's suits start at $210 and men's at $100. Besides Kitson, the collection also sells at Barneys, Intermix and online at Net-a-Porter.
Oscar de la Renta
A trunk showing of Oscar de la Renta's autumn-winter 2012 children's collection started Thursday (it ends at 6 p.m.) and continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Oscar de la Renta boutique at 8446 Melrose Place, Los Angeles. Madewell's Denim Road Trip rolls into Santa Monica on Saturday. The brand will set up its customized Airstream trailer at Santa Monica Place for denim fittings by stylists, who will also help customers choose other pieces to go with their jeans.
