Fashion News: Scarlett Johansson gets star; David Beckham gets kiss

Scarlett Johansson wore a black-and-white printed outfit by Preen, Bulgari jewelry and peep-toe red Louboutins when she got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday. [The Cut]

Gucci has given James Franco -- who is one of its celebrity "faces" -- so many suits that sometimes he gives them back or lends them to his buddies. [The Cut]

The Los Angeles Lakers' "Kiss Cam" caught soccer star David Beckham and fashion designer wife Victoria on Monday night, sending Victoria into a torrent of giggles -- followed, of course, by a smooch. [Huffington Post]

British designer Nicholas Kirkwood, who opened his first store in London last year, expands to the U.S. this week, with a store set to open in NYC on Friday. [WWD] (Subscription required.)

Maria Shriver presented photographer Annie Leibovitz with the Distinguished Women in the Arts Award, bestowed annually by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Previous recipients have included artists Barbara Kruger, Yoko Ono and Jenny Holzer; editor Tina Brown; choreographer Twyla Tharp; actress-director Angelica Houston; and art collector Beatrice Gersh. The presentation was made Monday at a luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. [Society News LA]
