Fashion News: Kristen Stewart looks flirty at 'Snow White' screening

Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart has been wearing a mix of styles at various red carpet events over the last few weeks, including elegant gowns by Balenciaga and Reem Acra and casual printed pants by Balenciaga with a Rebecca Minkoff jacket, as my colleague Jenn Harris reported in her Frugal Fashion column. Stewart took still another tack Tuesday at a Los Angeles screening of "Snow White and the Huntsman," which opens Friday, wearing a Stella McCartney double-breasted blazer and flirty skirt, button-up collar and hair twisted into braids on the back of her head. One might call it the sexy schoolmarm look. [RCFA]

When designer Simon Spurr abruptly left his eponymous label in March, only days after being nominated for a Council of Fashion Designers of America Award, the reasons were left unstated. But Spurr tells the New York Times in an interview he is open to returning to the label and is in talks with his business partner and investor to find a resolution to their differences, which seem to revolve around the brand's high-end prices. The first online "trunk show" began Thursday with a Prabal Gurung dress Diane Kruger wore to the Monaco Nights Gala in Monte Carlo last week, according to a press release.
