Fashion News: Justin Bieber wins FiFi fragrance award for Someday

We knew thousands of teenage girls couldn't be wrong. Justin Bieber won the Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award for the 2011 launch of his women's scent Someday at the fragrance industry "Oscars," the FiFis, on Monday night. Heidi Klum won the Broad Appeal, Women category for her debut fragrance Shine, beating Christina Aguilera and Fergie. [Us]

Madonna has selected Georgia May Jagger, the 20-year-old model and daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, as the new face of her Material Girl fashion line for juniors. [WWD]

Cleopatra's jewels
Society News LA writer Ellen Olivier was fascinated by jewelry from ancient Egypt on display at the opening night preview for the “Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt” exhibition at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. She noted that the baubles — among 150 artifacts on display through Dec. 31 — look as fashionable today as they did a couple of millenniums ago. Cleopatra never fails to fascinate: in this millennium, Kim Kardashian has posed for a magazine spread as the famous queen of the Nile, and Angelina Jolie is set to portray her in 2013.
