Fashion News: Neil Diamond, Carey Mulligan wed (not to each other)

There were a couple of notable weddings over the weekend -- Neil Diamond married his manager Katie McNeil on Sunday in Los Angeles. And actress Carey Mulligan married rocker Marcus Mumford in England on Saturday. So far few details are out about either, but British Vogue reports that Mulligan wore an ivory gown believed to be by Versace, that Adele sang at her wedding and guests included Livia and Colin Firth, Sienna Miller and Jake Gyllenhaal. And on Sunday LeAnn Rimes tweeted a photo of a humongous ring husband Eddie Cibrian gave her for their first anniversary. I’m not sure what the gemstone is, but it is huge. [People]

‘Glee’ co-stars Darren Criss and Lea Michele sang together Friday at the “Taste for a Cure 2012” fundraiser for UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation. They weren’t there just to entertain, either -- the two stars also bid on auction items. Michele wore a somewhat prim, but somewhat gothic black lace dress by Oscar de la Renta for the occasion. Former Dior creative director John Galliano, who has kept a rather low profile since his ouster last year, was spotted lunching with Vogue creative director Grace Coddington in New York City on Friday. [The Cut]

Emma Roberts, Ginnifer Goodwin, Isabelle Fuhrman, Lana Del Rey, Krysten Ritter and Olivia Munn were among the guests at a dinner honoring designer Jason Wu last week hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and InStyle’s Ariel Foxman at Soho House West Hollywood. [WWD]

The Range Rover Evoque Special Edition designed by Victoria Beckham -- and inspired by her husband, soccer great David Beckham -- was introduced to the world Sunday. Only 200 of the luxe (and by that I mean there are details like rose-gold plating in the interior) vehicles will be produced. [Telegraph]
