The Limited
The Limited kicked off a five-store expansion in California with the opening of a branch in Roseville, Calif., on Friday. The 4,300-square-foot store is in the Westfield Galleria mall near Sacramento.

According to a news release, the Limited also plans to open or remodel stores this year in Westfield Main Place Mall, Santa Ana; Fresno Fashion Fair, Fresno;  Fashion Valley, San Diego; and Westminster Mall, Westminster.

The company has 240 locations nationally and has recently been overhauling and updating its brand. The new or refurbished stores will have modern taupe walls, white shelving and red accents. The dressing areas will be larger and there will be a waiting area for companions.

Van Cleef & Arpels

Van Cleef & Arpels in Beverly Hills is moving to a temporary location while its Beverly Hills shop undergoes renovation. The new digs at 332 North Rodeo Drive are scheduled to open April 5 while the original boutique at 300 N. Rodeo Drive expands and refurbishes. When it reopens this fall, expect a plush, updated look inside and out.
