John Galliano has been awfully quiet since he was convicted in a French court last year of making anti-Semitic statements in a Paris bar -- an allegation that had led to his dismissal as creative director of Dior. Since the whole scandal began a year ago, Galliano has reportedly been to rehab and surfaced publicly only for the wedding of Kate Moss, whose gown he designed. But a reportedly quiet and reserved Galliano emerged a few days ago in London for a friend’s birthday party at a local hotspot. [NY Post]
Coco Rocha co-hosted a kickoff dinner Monday for the new Model Alliance, a workers’ rights group for fashion models that’s spearheaded by model Sara Ziff. Other models supporting the cause include Doutzen Kroes, Crystal Renn, Chanel Iman, Karlie Kloss and Shalom Harlow.
