Seeing Cameron Silver at the LAXART Ball of Artists the other night in a riotous floral print suit, the first-ever menswear piece by Mary Katrantzou, reminded me of the talented London designer’s spring collaboration with French fashion brand Longchamp.

The Greek-born Katrantzou, a trained textile and interiors designer known for her hyper-realistic prints, has created two tote bags, as well as an exclusive ‘East Meets West’ print for Longchamp’s Pliage line of lightweight nylon travel accessories. The prints are inspired by everything from Asian temples, lanterns and flower parades, to aquariums and the architecture of Carnegie Hall.

The collection, $160 to $590, is available at Longchamp stores and online at Longchamp.com.
