For 'Underworld Awakening' premiere, Kate Beckinsale in curls

(This post has been corrected. See note at bottom.)

Loose and beachy waves were a big beauty trend at last Sunday's Golden Globe Awards ceremony, and actress Kate Beckinsale continued the look at the Los Angeles premiere of "Underworld: Awakening."

Her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, said he set out to give Beckinsale romantic and perfectly polished waves to complement her beige-with-gold-studding Jenny Packham dress.

Abergel said he started by running Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel through her wet hair at the roots, and Fekkai Highlight Care Illuminating Cream at the ends to seal in moisture.

He blow-dried Beckinsale's hair with a round brush, then added curls with a 1-inch curling iron and curled the hair starting 2 inches down from the roots, going away from the face.

He finished the look by applying Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream for extra shine.
