Golden Globes 2012: Hair care the new red carpet product placement?

It's the first time I have ever heard someone plug hair care on the red carpet. Nicole Richie name-dropped Suave Professionals, whatever that is, along with designer Julien McDonald, who made her silvery gown, and her own line, House of Harlow, which made the bag. Suave is trending on Twitter, so whatever Suave paid her was worth it! And the untidy bump-it updo looks great on her.
