Fashion News: Tim Tebow's marketing potential noted

Is Tim Tebow God's gift to marketing? He could be soon. He's already working with Jockey, Nike and FRS Energy drinks. And the NFL's sales of his Denver Broncos' No. 15 jersey are second only to those of Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers, whose team won the Super Bowl last year. [USA Today]

The full lineup for one of our favorite street fashion-watching events -- Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival -- has been announced. This year the event stretches over two weekends, in April. [Los Angeles Times]

While our collective attention has been focused on the Republican presidential candidates, their debates and Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, many folks in the fashion world have been continuing their support of President Obama. Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour has organized a campaign called Runway to Win, which will sell bracelets, totes and such to raise money for his campaign. Merchandise from the likes of Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs, Rachel Roy, Alexander Wang, Tory Burch and Diane von Furstenberg is slated to go on sale Thursday on the drive's website. In unrelated news, Wintour is slated to be honored Feb. 4 with an Ally for Equality award from the Human Rights Campaign  for her support of gay rights. [The Cut]

Solange KnowlesSolange Knowles, new auntie to sister Beyonce's baby girl Blue Ivy, is the latest musician to be signed by Next Models. [Fashionista]

The number of men having cosmetic procedures has reportedly doubled in the last 15 years, with about 300,000 having Botox treatments last year. [ABC News]

Fifteen-year-old Tavi Gevinson, who's been a player in the fashion world since she was, oh, about 12 or so, is in Wilco's new "Whole Love" video. [Hollywood Reporter]
