-- With the Super Bowl nearing next Sunday, everyone is really, really interested in ... the commercials! So much so that ‘sneak peeks’ -- kind of commercials for the commercials -- are being released. That made me decide that it is well past time to share a video clip of soccer star David Beckham’s ad for his namesake bodywear collection for H&M, which is to air on game day. Welcome back to the Galaxy, David.

-- Rapper Tinie Tempah topped GQ’s annual list of best-dressed men. Robert Pattinson (No. 4), Henry Cavill (No. 6), Idris Elba (No. 7) and Christian Bale (No. 8) also were in the top 10. Britain’s Prince William fell off the list, while his dad Prince Charles was included at No. 50. On the worst-dressed list, No. 1 was Chris Brown. But the one that really had to hurt was No. 5 worst-dressed, Mike Jeffries. He is chief executive of Abercrombie & Fitch. The complete list appears in the March issue of GQ. [Telegraph]

-- Legendary former Cosmopolitan editor Helen Gurley Brown (she of ‘Sex and the Single Girl’ fame) is donating $30 million toward building the David and Helen Gurley Brown Institute for Media Innovation at Columbia and Stanford universities. The bequest honors her late husband, the producer of blockbuster films such as ‘Jaws’ and ‘The Sting.’ [The Cut]

-- Los Angeles Times’ Fashion Critic Booth Moore recently called Bérénice Bejo out for missing the opportunity to use red carpets to promote her film, ‘The Artist,’ as Rooney Mara is reminding viewers of her ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ by dressing like a toned-down, classed-up version of her character, Lisbeth Salander, at premieres and awards events. Someone must have paid attention. At Saturday’s Directors Guild of America Awards, Bejo, above, wore just the kind of fringed dress her character Peppy Miller would have looked great in during the 1920s.

-- Kylie and Kendall Jenner (the Kardashian half-sibs) have landed their first Teen Vogue cover: They are featured in the March issue. It was just a matter of time. [Fashionista]

-- British actress Imogen Poots, who’s had roles in ’28 Days Later’ and ‘Jane Eyre,’ stars in the ad campaign for the soon-to-arrive Marni for H&M collaboration. And she’s not the biggest celebrity attached to the campaign: It was directed by Sophia Coppola. [Telegraph]
