She makes clothing, swimwear, home accessories, jewelry, handbags and bed linens. And now, Los Angeles designer Trina Turk is lending her sunny outlook to notecards and envelopes as part of a collaboration with the venerable luxury New York stationer Dempsey & Carroll, which was founded in 1878.

The East Coast-meets-West Coast designs include the Ogee (top right, in yellow or blue, $65) featuring a midcentury-ish geometric motif, and my favorite, the Coachella (top left, $60) in a multihued psychedelic print. The cards are available at DempseyandCaroll.com or TrinaTurk.com, and a portion of proceeds from the sales will benefit the nonprofit P.S. Arts.

In other news, the designer has launched the Trina Turks & Caicos collection of swim and loungewear in exclusive prints for the luxury Grace Bay Club in Turks & Caicos.

The collection is available on Turk’s website, or, if you are lucky enough to be taking a Caribbean holiday sometime soon, at the resort.
