It’s easy to pull an all-nighter this time of year. In the run-up to Christmas, there are parties and marathon gift-wrapping sessions. For students, add on all-night cram sessions for final exams.

And there’s no rest for the weary come Dec. 26. No, post-Christmas just means catching red-eye flights (back home if you’ve been visiting relatives, off to a ski resort or tropical island if you’re lucky). Plus New Year’s Eve beckons, with its requirement to toast and kiss at midnight.
