Fashion News: Kardashian Christmas card features tuxedos in 3-D

Kim Kardashian left her figure-hugging dresses in the closet when she posed for the Kardashian-Jenner family Christmas card. She wears a tuxedo on the card, with bell-bottom trousers reminiscent of the 1970s. But for a 21st century twist, the card is in 3-D. [Los Angeles Times]
On the card, the whole family looks pretty tranquil, but budding model Kendall Jenner recently did something that shows she is probably the black sheep of the family. She reportedly refused mom Kris’ plans to throw her a lavish Sweet 16 party in the Bahamas. [Huffington Post]
Meanwhile, Kim took to her website to refute as ‘malicious’ reports that on a trip to Haiti earlier this month she spent lots of money on herself and attended a fashion show. Instead she was in Haiti to find out more about the charity We Advance, set up to help Haitian women. [People]
Taylor Swift’s mascara ads for CoverGirl have been banned by the U.S. National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus Claims for making unsubstantiated claims and for doing post-production enhancing of the picture showing her lush lashes. [Business Insider]
The editor of Dutch magazine Jackie resigned after publishing an article about Rihanna that used both the ‘n’ word and the ‘b’ word in juxtaposition. It was a joke, said editor Eva Hoeke. Only not so funny. Especially to Rihanna, who took to Twitter to call the magazine out. [Cut]
With all the new-found interest in the British royals as fashionistas (thanks to the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton), Kensington Palace plans to mount a display of some of the late Princess’ Diana’s outfits next March. [WWD]
