West Hollywood’s city council made its fur ban official with a final vote Monday. That’s a ban on selling furry apparel, not other items, like home furnishings. (Bearskin rug, anyone?) And leather is exempt. The controversial measure, the first of its kind in the nation, is scheduled to take effect in 2013. [Los Angeles Times]
