Fashion News: Lindsay Lohan's next look — nude in 'Playboy'?

October 26, 2011 |  7:55 am

You'd think Lindsay Lohan would be too busy working her community service at the morgue to be thinking about her next career move, but it seems you'd be wrong. A few years back she was all about branching off into clothing design. But now she may try to get the career back in gear by taking her clothes off, in a spread for Playboy, for which she would possibly be paid $1 million. Money aside, all I can say is: "Yawn." I'm getting pretty tired of this once promising young woman. [Los Angeles Times]

Julianne HoughHair news: Julianne Hough cut hers, to the just-above-the-shoulder length shown at left. [People] Selena Gomez cut hers, too. [InStyle] Scarlett Johansson dyed hers brown (for a role). [Mail] Snooki added some red at the ends. [Us]

I feel like I've been seeing more Halloween costumes for dogs this year than ever before — surprising to me when I think about what the last pup to reside in my household would have done had we tried to outfit her in, say, a replica of Kate Middleton's Sarah Burton bridal gown. But some folks are doing just that. Here comes the bride. [The Cut]

Speaking of Halloween costumes, PopSugar Los Angeles suggests letting your favorite neighborhood inspire you to be something like a Hollywood paparazzo, Santa Monica roller blader, Silver Lake hipster or Beverly Hills palm tree. Cool ideas. Made me a little sorry I've already decided on Professor McGonagall. [PopSugar Los Angeles]

The Image staff recently wrote a package of articles about celebrity clothing lines. Some make perfect sense, our Melissa Magsaysay wrote, while others — think Carlos Santana and his women's shoe line — are head scratchers. Now into the latter category comes this: Food Network star and celebrity cook Paul Deen says she is launching a clothing line. OK, I could see aprons maybe, but I'm not sure about the fashion connection. (On the other hand, I could completely understand Guy Fieri starting his own line of shirts, shorts and sunglasses.)
