Fashion News: Dina Manzo’s advice for feuding ‘Real Housewives’

Former ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Dina Manzo has moved on and is hosting a show on HGTV. But she has some words of wisdom for her feuding former cast mates, Teresa Guidice and Caroline Manzo. ‘Let’s lift each other up instead of trying to tear one another down. Let’s showcase what women are capable of, what I thought this show was going to be back in the day: Running successful businesses, supporting amazing causes, raising incredible children and looking fabulous every step of the way.’ [People]

Young Hollywood — and some young fans — turned out Saturday for the 5th annual ‘Variety Power of Youth’ at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Receiving awards for their charitable contributions were Darren Criss of ‘Glee’ (in photo at left), Angus T. Jones of ‘Two and a Half Men,’ Hailee Steinfeld of ‘True Grit,’ Chloe Moretz of ‘Let Me In,’ Rico Rodriguez of ‘Modern Family,’ Bailee Madison of ‘Just Go With It’ and Hayden Panettiere of ‘Heroes.’ [Society News LA]

The amazingly creative and industrious Karl Lagerfeld, creative director of Chanel, announced he is cutting back on collaborations to bring back his own signature lines. The first of the two women’s collections is set to launch Jan. 25. The lower-priced line, ‘Karl,’ will range from about $85 to $415. The higher-priced collection, ‘Karl Lagerfeld Paris,’ will be about $415 to $3,460. [The Cut]

Meanwhile, Lagerfeld has photographed Florence Welch, who performed at his Paris Fashion Week show, for a limited edition cover for her new single ‘Shake it Out.’ [Telegraph]

Monique Lhuillier, known for her wedding gowns, will introduce a tableware collection for Waterford in January. It will include fine china, crystal stemware, bar ware, silver and metal gift ware priced from $18 to $1,500. The partnership replaces an existing line of Monique Lhuillier tabletop designs with Royal Doulton, which will be phased out in the first quarter of 2012. [WWD]
