Countless models were seen wearing bright colors during the spring-summer 2011 runway shows. The color-blocking trend was big, with labels like Marni sending their models down the runway in color-blocked tops, shorts and caps.

The color-blocked look may have been big for spring, but it’s still making a splash for summer as seen in this reader photo of stylist Salvador Camarena.

‘I decided I wanted to participate in the colorblocking trend,’ wrote Camarena, who is seen on his way to a stylist gig just outside of Los Feliz. ‘I’m glad I did because it makes me instantly happy.’
