I was wondering when retailers were going to move into L.A. Live, which has some of the steadiest foot traffic in car-crazy Los Angeles, between Staples Center and the Nokia Theatre.

It turns out, home shopping network QVC will be leading the charge, opening a studio on Fashion’s Night Out, Sept. 8, and launching a new series titled ‘QVC @ LA Live’ from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Hosted by Jonathan Redford and Amy Stran, the shows will be tailored to Los Angeles, with local QVC pitchmen and women scheduled to appear, including stylists Rachel Zoe and Cristina Ehrlich, designers Bradley Bayou and Erica Courtney, and Hollywood personalities Camila Alves and Joan Rivers. (See QVC.com for more show dates and times.)

No word yet on whether they will interact with the crowd, although that would certainly add another dimension, kind of like ‘Extra!’ taping at the Grove.
