Fashion News: Beyonce's and Gaga's style at the 2011 MTV VMAs

Beyonce at the VMA

Artists showed up at MTV Video Music Awards rocking the androgyny trend in a huge way. Even Beyonce, who announced her pregnancy at the show, dazzled in a menswear-inspired sequin tux jacket by Dolce & Gabbana. [All The Rage]

In what seemed to be the antithesis of the over-the-top Kim Kardashian wedding, director Sofia Coppola wed longtime love Thomas Mars in Bernalda, Italy, this weekend. The always-stylish Coppola wore a custom-made Azzedine Alaia lavender tulle dress and kept her hair down, wavy and super-simple. [Ministry of Gossip]

Lady Gaga may have have channeled a tough guy as Jo Calderone during last night's VMAs, but some are already speculating on who will design her wedding dress -- for her yet-to-confirmed wedding. [WWD]

OK, my vote for video of the year goes to the Lanvin fall/winter 2011 campaign video that features Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmerman dancing to the Pit Bulls' "I Know You Want Me." The Steven Meisel-directed video also has Alber Albaz making a cute dance cameo at the end. [Fashionista.com]

Judith Leiber, known for her over-the-top crystal-encrusted bag creations, made custom bags for the Kardashian clan on Kim's big day. The bags were shaped and bedazzled to look like Kim's black-and-white wedding cake, and featured her new monogram, KHK. [People]
