This week, Jessica Alba showed up to host a party for Lucky magazine and Thisnext.com wearing a floor-length leopard print dress from Dolce & Gabbana that looked just right with her tan, glowing complexion and flowed perfectly over her growing baby bump.
The starlet sported her spots with casual hair, simple hoop earrings and a couple of chunky bangles on one arm.
And showing us just how versatile the dress can be, plus proving that the animal print look and a sexy rocker style isn’t just for the under 30 crowd, was Helen Mirren, who wore a similar Dolce & Gabbana dress to the London premiere of ‘Arthur’ in April. Mirren paired hers with a fitted black leather jacket, a stack of edgy bangles, classic black clutch and swept-back hair for a look that felt more befitting of Heidi Klum than Dame Helen.
But Mirren’s edgier way of wearing the dress pushes the envelope while still remaining age-appropriate. The seasoned actress carried off the bold print by tempering it with basic black pieces and classic rocker accessories. It’s the perfect way to wear a loud print without looking overwhelmed or out of place.
