Your Morning Fashion and Beauty Report: Patti LaBelle, Ashanti elegant at the BET Awards. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shows Burberry love at 'Transformers' premiere.
Patti LaBelle looked quite elegant as she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards Sunday, wearing a navy sheath and matching coat. Later today, we'll post a photo gallery of some of the best and worst looks on the red carpet, but for now, one I like is Ashanti, at left, in her blue gown that looks good from front or back.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also chose blue, in a stunning backless navy gown from Burberry for the London premiere of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon." For the after party, she made a quick change into a cream dress from Burberry's Resort 2012 collection. Rosie and Burberry have a relationship going back to 2009, when she starred in the label's fall ad campaign. [Telegraph]
Bill Gaytten was named creative director of the John Galliano label last week, as our Adam Tschorn reported. But over the weekend rumors started circulating that bigwigs at LVMH, which owns both the Galliano label and Christian Dior -- where John Galliano served as creative director until he was fired in March -- were considering whether it would be feasible to reinstate the disgraced designer to his eponymous label. But they apparently decided against it. [Telegraph] [Cut]

New Miss USA Alyssa Campanella was crowned last week as a redhead. But she is really a natural blond, it turns out, wearing what has become the color of choice this summer since she was in high school. "I was quiet and reserved as a blond," she says, "but it's like the red hair immediately unleashed this fiery personality I had inside." [StyleList]
Kim and Khloe Kardashian have been tweeting X-rays of what they say is Kim's rear end, to prove that the reality star hasn't had any work done there. "Proof, baby," Kim tweeted. Honestly, I'm finding all this to do over what's real and what isn't pretty silly. But being silly has made the Kardashians a fortune. [People]
