Kate Somerville appearance Saturday: Skincare maven Kate Somerville will be making a personal appearance and signing her new beauty book, ‘Complexion Correction!’ at Nordstrom during the store’s Spring 2011 Cosmetics Trend Show, a beauty event at which experts impart the newest beauty tips and products. Kate Somerville the brand will be offering guests complimentary DermalQuench facial treatments.

Nordstrom South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Get tickets for the Trend Show ($15) by calling 1-800-7-BEAUTY or visiting any cosmetics counter at Nordstrom South Coast Plaza. Tickets are redeemable toward a purchase of $15 or more on the day of the event.
