Jewelry designer Brooke Gregson was raised in Los Angeles but has been living and working in London in recent years — and her eponymous jewelry collection combines style hallmarks from both cities.

The fine jewelry line, which launched last week in L.A. at the Persimmon Handpicked Objects boutique, marries an Old World classicism that feels very British with an astrology-worshipping boho spirit that runs rampant in L.A. The result: diamond-sprinkled pieces that appeal to uptown girls and beach bunnies alike.

The hand-cast collection ranges from $220 for woven bracelets to $6,800 for 18-karat diamond necklaces.

But its standout pieces — including gold Astrology pendants, left, which outline the sky’s zodiac signs in a trail of diamonds, and Moon necklaces, which encase circular stones such as labradorite in gold — are in the $1,000-$2,000 range.

The collection’s newer Silk Woven line of necklaces and bracelets juxtaposes hand-woven silk with gold and diamonds or semiprecious gems — resulting in the most low-key way to wear diamonds we’ve ever seen.
