[Updated] Your Morning Fashion and Beauty Report: Lady Gaga dresses as modern Mary Magdalene for 'Judas.' Salma Hayek launches beauty line.

How would a modern-day Mary Magdalene dress? In rocker/motorcycle gear, as Lady Gaga sees it. At least that's how the singer is clad as she portrays the biblical figure in her controversial new video, "Judas." Wait. Did I just say Lady Gaga dresses in a controversial way? Stop. That isn't news. (But she says the video is "meant more to celebrate faith than it is to challenge it." [USA Today]  

Asalma Actress Salma Hayek, left, unveiled her new beauty line at a kickoff luncheon Thursday. Nuance Salma Hayek will be sold exclusively at CVS drugstores. The line was inspired by Hayek's grandmother, a cosmetologist. [WWD] (Subscription required.) 

Did Bristol Palin have plastic surgery? That's the question du jour, apparently, after Palin showed up at the Candie's Foundation benefit gala this week not just slimmer but with a firmer jaw and a more pronounced chin. [People]

British brand Mulberry turns 40 this year and has come out with a luxe coffee-table book to celebrate. The photographs include ad campaigns, shows, models and celebrities, behind-the-scenes looks at Mulberry's Somerset factory, parties and products.
