Unique L.A. design and gift show Saturday and Sunday: Score goodies from over 300 local designers and artists including Loomlab and Love Nail Tree at the nation’s largest independent design and gift show.

Vince charitable shopping event Friday: The Robertson Boulevard Vince store hosts a night of shopping where 20% of proceeds benefit the Animal Advocates Alliance. There will be a drawing for a $150 gift card, with no purchase necessary. RSVP to Debbiem@animaladvocatesalliance.org.

Alexis Bittar Mother’s Day deal Through Sunday: Bring your mom into accessories haven Alexis Bittar and get 20% off any purchase over $250. The store will be serving free bellinis and will have a drawing for a $500 shopping spree.

Petra Strand Target appearance and pop-up Friday and Saturday: In honor of Mother’s Day, Target hosts makeup artist and Pixi cosmetics creator Petra Strand, who will be leading a team of makeup artists in hosting a pop-up makeup shop offering makeup touchups. Strand will be in-store Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., but the pop-up runs through Saturday night.
