Japan Relief and Benefit Fashion Show Friday: Third Street boutique EM & Co., jewelry brand PRECO and the Shin Koyamada Foundation (which was founded by Japanese actor Shin Koyamada to empower youth and promote "an Earth-friendly lifestyle") present a fashion show and silent auction to benefit Japanese tsunami relief efforts. The show will feature three Japanese designers -- Ahrniimura, Tsubomi and Mayumi Bradshaw -- along with PRECO jewelry.

Elyse Walker Ongoing: Designer boutique Elyse Walker hosts its annual 30%-to-50%-off sale both in-store and online, including looks from  Lanvin, Proenza Schouler, Valentino, Christian Louboutin, Barbara Bui, Australia Luxe Bedouin, Jimmy Choo and Alexander Wang. For example, a Lanvin quilted chain bag is now $592, down from $1,185.

Montana Avenue Sidewalk Sale Saturday: The boutiques on tony shopping row Montana Avenue in Santa Monica host their annual sidewalk sale, with merchandise at various stores marked down 15% to 80%. The sale spans an area from 6th to 17th streets -- and some shops discount their entire stores for the one-day event.
