Style L.A.: What are you wearing? Reader photo of the week, it’s all about the maxi

Think you need an uber-short mini to get ready for summer? Think again. The maxi skirt is still on its full fledged ‘70s comeback after making multiple appearances on the runways last fall. This week’s featured reader photo shows fashion blogger Jan Lach from the blog Fashion Diplomacy wearing a lightweight, summer-friendly version of the maxi trend.

Lach’s friend, fashion photographer Aileen Tieu, took this photo after a walk through the park. Lach’s flowy skirt and brown belt are from Asos, her print top is from Forever 21 and her shoes are Dolce Vita from Shopbop.

Lach says her style philosophy is laid back. She likes to incorporate different pieces to ensure that her finished look appears complete.

“My style changes according to my mood,” wrote Lach in an email. “Because of these constant changes, my creativity is always at work.”
