Ever since the royal wedding, we’ve been downright obsessed with hair accessories and hats -- particulalry fascinators, those fabulously named headpieces (smaller than a hat) that are typically clipped into the hair.

In our quest to get the fascinator look -- without the Philip Treacy price tag -- we stumbled upon Etsy.com shop HeartFeltByAviva, which creates dramatic pieces for the hair that are both true fascinators and headbands festooned with fascinator-esque creations (in truth, more our speed.)

The shop’s signature look is a fascinator with headband made up of delicate, multicolored felt flowers.

But there are also more straight-ahead fascinators, including a striped orange-and-white circle festooned with felt flowers and 1950s-style pointy satin numbers with romantic net veils.

But our favorite has to be a headband fascinator featuring an artfully laid bed of black, white and silver pheasant, guinea and hackle feathers, accented with a delicated beaded silver bow.

We can see wearing it with a simple black cocktail dress -- or even a more boho-minded bridal gown.

Prices for HeartFeltByAviva pieces range from $8 to $45.
