A makeup kit for brides and 'Bridesmaids'

Urban Bride Group - Box and product

The movie “Bridesmaids” is out this Friday the 13th and it looks like it might be pretty hilarious. To salute bridezillas, poufy pink bridesmaid dresses and raucous bachelorette parties as well as, of course, promote the film, a beauty component has also been added in the form of a palette called Urban Bride that’s full of wedding day touch-up tools and a setting spray so your makeup won’t move. Cosmetic company Urban Decay teamed up with Universal and created the little kit that contains six of the brand’s most bride-friendly items.

There’s the Razor Sharp Ultra-definition finishing powder, which creates an airbrushed look to the skin, Super Curl Curling mascara (though these days, most brides go for the individual fake lashes or eyelash extensions), a nude shade of lip gloss called Midnight Cowboy, as well as some eye shadow primer to keep shadow in place and the makeup setting spray to shellac the makeup in place even after dancing, sweating, kissing and crying.

But perhaps the most intriguing product in this kit is the Marshmallow Sparkling Lickable body powder that gives the skin a little shimmer and is also totally edible. Who needs a cake when you’ve got lickable body powder?

The Urban Bride makeup kit is $48 at Ulta and Sephora.
