Your morning fashion and beauty report: Kanye West gets into scarves, Reese Witherspoon wears pink, American Apparel launches denim line

Rapper Kanye West, a dabbler in fashion who recently completed a design internship at Fendi, is launching a collection of scarves incorporating artwork inspired by his album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.’ The limited-edition pieces will be sold exclusively at the Colette boutique in Paris and online at M/M (Paris). Splendid’s expansion is good news, especially because the retail scene in L.A. seems to have been especially hard hit in the past year or two with a number of boutiques (including Fred Segal Fun, Tracey Ross and Petro Zillia) closing up shop. [PopSugar LA]
