Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour profiled in a new documentary for Bloomberg Television

Ever wondered how a high school drop-out climbed and clawed her way to the tippity top of the fashion industry to become the monarch of a publishing empire? Anna Wintour is among the most powerful figures in the world of global fashion, earning respect in ateliers and board rooms alike. An intimidating figure -- nicknames include  "Ice Queen" and "Nuclear Wintour" -- she can single-handledly determine a fashion designer's future.

Fashion fans saw how she puts American Vogue together in the film "The September Issue" and now can find out more about this driven woman in a profile airing Thursday night as part of the Bloomberg television series "Game Changers."

The show follows Wintour's rise and examines her influence through interviews with industry notables including fashion designer Vera Wang, Women's Wear Daily editor in chief Ed Nardoza and Condé Nast chief executive Chuck Townsend.

The documentary is scheduled to air at 5 p.m. PDT on Bloomberg Television.
