Alexandre Birman appearance Thursday: Shoe designer Alexandre Birman — a favorite of celebs including Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Demi Moore and Emily Blunt — is the guest of honor at a cocktail party featuring DJ Caroline D’Amor, benefiting the Art of Elysium at Saks Fifth Avenue (10% of the evening’s sales will be donated to the charity).

Royal Plush: Women’s lifestyle brand Royal Plush has opened its first retail store — at Fred Segal Emphatic within the sprawling Fred Segal complex in Santa Monica. The shop stocks the entire Royal Plush collection, including sportswear, hats, handbags, shoes and jeans.

Resurrection’s online store: Founded in 1996 by Mark Haddawy and designer Katy Rodriguez, with boutiques in New York and Los Angeles, Resurrection specializes in collectible and historic clothing. And at long last the duo has opened an e-commerce shop to showcase vintage and rare designs from the likes of Christian Lacroix, Chanel and Vivienne Westwood. Now’s a good time to shop — the store is offering 15% off all online purchases.
