V-Day shopping: Nordstrom helps you find your lingerie style

We never really gave our lingerie ‘style’ much thought (does clean and rip-free count as a style?). But we understand that plenty of people take their lingerie much more seriously — especially around Valentine’s Day.
And to help boost the sales of delicates this V-Day, Nordstrom is offering a fun little online quiz that will help you — or your significant other — discern lingerie looks that suit your personal style.
It’s not scientific, but the multiple-choice quiz is a fun way to spend five minutes. An example of one of the finish-this-sentence questions: ‘My valentine just called. He’s picking me up in an hour. I’m going to wear something....’ And the choices are ‘ever-so-slightly revealing’; ‘supersoft and clingy’; and ‘fun, with a girlish edge.’
Once you move through the quiz, you’re shuffled into one of three styles: Seductive, Fun & Flirty and True Romantic, each of which link to pages of products the retailer deems compatible with your lingerie persona — though you can shop the other styles, too, with a single click.
We fell into the ‘True Romantic’ category (so true!), which took us to pages of lacy, detailed bra-and-panty sets from brands including Chantelle Intimates and Natori.
Perhaps this is the year we upgrade those cotton hipster undies to something a tad racier.
