Magic trade show: Kangol hats go high-tech

GEDC0295

Headwear is getting teched out for fall, but you would never know just by looking. Kangol's Aerial 7 hat is a traditional wool cap with ear flaps containing little speakers in them. A thin cord runs out of sight through the back of the cap and plugs into an iPod or cellphone. The music stops as soon as a phone call comes through in case you're listening to it on a device that has the capacity for both.

Besides the music/talking feature (the sound is suprisingly very clear), the cap is just so darn cute and keeps cold ears warm if walking outdoors, no one would ever know you were conducting a conference call from your cozy, wool earflap hat.

The Aerial 7 hat will be available this fall at www.kangol.com
