From Paris, with love, comes Diptyque’s limited-edition Roseros candle duo($78 at diptyqueparis.com and Ron Robinson Apothia), designed to tell a story about the harmony of love. It’s the second time that the venerable French fragrance brand has teamed up with Parisian graphic artists Kuntzel + Deygas, famed for their boldly stylish narrative illustrations. The imagery on the boxes fits together to form a heart. And the two yin-and-yang rose-based scents are designed to be burned as a pair, casting and marrying their bouquets in the air to create a captivating love spell.

Sweeter Rose mixes Piaget Rose with fresh notes of Egyptian basil, black currant, violet and sensual musk. Spicier Eros mingles the essence of Rugosa rose with smoky accords including myrrh, sandalwood and cedar. And what enchanted evening would be complete without a love song? They’ve thought of that too, with a unique melody “RosEros” to crescendo the mood, created by musicians Bertrand Burgalat and April March, with lyrics by Pascal Mounet. Click here to listen, download and kindle (or rekindle) that flame.
