Michelle Obama greeted Chinese President Hu Jintao on Wednesday morning wearing an ensemble from Roksanda Ilincic’s fall 2010 collection. It’s reportedly the first time the fashion-forward first lady has worn an outfit by the Belgrade-born designer, who studied and works in London. [WWD]

Rodarte, the Los Angeles-based fashion house that designed ballet costumes for ‘Black Swan,’ won’t get credit if the film wins for costume design in the many Hollywood awards shows this season. Instead, Amy Westcott will take the credit because she received the ‘front credit’ as costume designer for the film, while Rodarte’s Mulleavy sisters, Laura and Kate, only received a back-end credit for the 40 costumes they created.
