Will Golden Globes' red carpet be a fashion treat or same-old same-old?

January 15, 2011 |  7:00 am

Golden I'm already starting to wonder who will wear what at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards.

This, the first "big" event of Hollywood's awards season, is bound to bring out stars who are better dressed than those at the recent "People's Choice" awards, which left critics dumbfounded as they viewed too-short mini-after-mini and what Los Angeles Times fashion critic Booth Moore termed "boob spillage" in an embarrassing number of cases.(Yes, I'm lookin' at you, Kardashian sisters!)

We just know Sunday's red carpet will be better than that, but for the last year the multitude of premieres, awards programs and parties that stretch on for months has left observers suffering from red carpet fatigue, as stylist and writer Vincent Boucher explains in an article that will be published in Sunday's Los Angeles Times. Get a sneak peek here.
