Sure, there’s been your fair share of garden variety up-dos at the Golden Globes this evening, but the most memorable beauty looks have been the slick and sexy ponytail and the chic, straight hair with eye-grazing bangs.

Both Olivia Wilde and Sandra Bullock were sporting long, pin straight hair with perfect face-framing fringe. No doubt a straight iron was taken to both their heads, but thankfully there was no loss of volume or movement in their hairdos. And each actress seemed to be channeling ‘60s French style icons, which was so refreshing to see among a sea of super-tight, uber-curled and oversprayed up-dos.
