SAG Awards: Clean and pulled back – ponytails on the red carpet stay put

Besides the long and loose hair trend at Sunday’s SAG Awards, many actresses have their hair pulled back clean and tight into polished ponytails –- no doubt because of the rain, but to also show off all the open and strapless necklines. Ponytails were also a huge trend on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Julianna Margulies is one of the all-time red carpet faves for her timeless and elegant beauty. Her ponytail certainly looks as gorgeous as any up-do or head of cascading waves and really sets off her dramatic red Yves Saint Laurent gown. Amy Adams and Melissa Leo are also sporting swept up ponytails.
