L.A. + JO store opening with Real Housewives Thursday: Toast the opening of new boutique L.A. + JO at Santa Monica Place withcast members from ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County.’ The idea behind the store, which is owned by a Parisian textile company, is to offer ‘a boutique that offers Barneys Co-op-level quality at Zara price points,’ said a spokesperson for the company. Dan Deutsch Optical Outlook trunk show Thursday: The 41-year-old L.A. eye-wear boutique is hosting a trunk show for functional-jewelry brand La Loop, which makes the La Loop eye-wear necklace (allowing you to carry your eye wear around your neck in fashionable ways; see photo above). Meet La Loop designer Elizabeth Faraut and peruse the entire collection. Prices range from $22 to over $500.
